Special grants given to residents (being active in laser dermatology) who are accepted as a fellow member. Residents can apply for a period of two years by confirmation from the head of their department and can renew their membership after two years during their residency. Residents do not have to pay a membership fee.

The advantages of becoming an ESLD member are:

1. Provides doctors (members) confidence (credit) toward their patients.
2. Keeps members informed of important meetings through the Newsletter and the website.
3. Gives members facilities to meetings where ESLD is actively participating.
4. The Journal of Cosmetic & Laser Therapy is the official journal of ESLD. Members have a priority when publishing in this scientific, peer-reviewed and indexed Journal
5. The website will have an educational role to play in the future (e.g. publication of guidelines reserved to members only).
6. Laser training centres will be available soon across Europe to ESLD members only.
